Venus & Olay Razor

I'm VERY excited to announce a product very much worthy of praise! Its the Venus & Olay razor and let me just say, I'm in love with it! I got it for free, compliments of influenster's voxbox program and I was so excited, as this product was right up my alley! I've been searching for a good razor for a while so I'm glad I now have this one! You don't even have to use a gel or shaving cream. There are soap-like bars on each side of the blades that really moisturize your skin while leaving you silky smooth! I shaved with this as soon as it came in the mail and afterwards I felt so soft and not one missed spot was on my legs! Its day 2 since shaving and I feel the smallest amount of hair stubble but my legs are still super soft. I also have no gotten any razor bumps or irritation. I highly recommend this razor. I will be repurchasing most certainly!

Truvía® natural sweetener Product Review

Hi there! I have recently received a product via Influenster's VoxBox program, for free! Its called TRUVIA and its a natural sweetener that claims to taste like real sugar. I agree, it does taste like real sugar and by every mean, its great! The aftertaste is a little off for me however. It tasted fine once i drank it, but after i swallow, it has that "different" taste; for a lack of a better word. It isnt a horrible aftertaste, but its noticeable. This product would be great for someone watching their sugar intake, for a diabetic or just for someone who wants to try something new! I've tried this sweetener in coffee and in tea. I would recommend this. Its certainly the best sweetener i've ever tried!

Vegetarian Cheese?!

First blog! Yay! So i was thinking and thinking for hours on what to have as a first blog! Should i have it to do with how to become vegetarian, a good vegetarian meal i have recently tried, beauty products not tested on animals, ahhh, what?!?! Then i decided to do something a little "simple" yet something that most people do not know about! As i did not know about it either until somewhat recently! Vegetarian cheese! Okay, so my mom has always been a vegetarian & she would not eat cheese. She would always tell me that its made with animal stomach or something along those lines. My dad always told me that it was not true and for some reason i listened to him (probably because cheese tasted good & i didn't know the real truth so i kept eating it..) Well within the past year, i researched it. I found out after a ton of research that most cheese (unless directly marked in the ingredients label) is made using "animal rennet". 


What is animal rennet?? Animal Rennet is made from rennin, an enzyme that is secreted in the fourth stomach of calves, lambs, and goats. It is most often derived from the dried and ground stomachs of unweaned calves and is used in making cheese.


So before you make your homemade pizza, or add cheese to your sandwich or taco, make sure to check out this list of animal free rennet which will always be marked!


**Animal free rennet contains microbial or vegetable rennet substitutes that are suitable for a vegetarian lifestyle.




Animal Free Cheese Brands-


Tillamook, Yancey's Fancy, Stella, Rondele, Organic Dairyland, Leprino, Land Of Lakes (minus the processed slices), Horizon, Cabot.


These are the brands i know about. There are a ton of cheeses at the grocery store, Trader Joe's, that will say "animal free rennet" on the back ingredient category. That's my favorite place to find foods that have the animal free logo on them. :)
